Students learn the basics of freediving in the pool and ocean, they learn how to use their breathing and relaxation to unlock the bodies natural freediving potential and enjoy the feeling of freedom in the water. Students learn everything they need to dive to 12 – 20 metres and to achieve breath holds of over one and a half minutes.
Students learn how to train and utilise their body for greater freediving performances. They learn how to break down the different elements that improve their freediving and how to develop those individual elements. By the end of the course each diver will know everything they need to dive comfortably from 24 – 30 metres and to achieve breath holds of over two and a half minutes.
Students learn how to achieve maximum performances from their body while remaining comfortable and relaxed. Particular attention is paid to deep equalisation methods which allow a diver to equalise below their residual volume. By the end of the course each diver will have the skills and ability to dive from 32 – 40 metres and achieve breath holds of over 3 and a half minutes. After this course students may take the Molchanovs Instructor Course
The Wave 4 Course is the Molchanovs competitive level course, designed to prepare a freediver for depths in excess of 50-60 metres and potentially prepare a diver for competitive freediving. This course is focused on methods to extend the ability of a freediver and different forms and methods of deep equalisation. After this course students may also take the Molchanovs Instructor Course.
Students learn the basics of pool freediving and to use relaxation to improve their performances. Topics include the introduction to freediving breathing, finning and no fins techniques, dive visualization and much more. Course duration is typically 2 days.
