Freedive in Mount Gambier
Join Adam Stern, Australian 8 x Freediving National Record Holder this coming October for 3 days of diving in Mount Gambier. Freedive Kilsby Sinkhole! We will be diving in Kilsby’s Sinkhole as well as exploring Ewens Ponds and Piccininni Ponds.
FreeDiving Courses
In these 3 days you can take your Molchanovs Wave 1 Course, your Wave 2 Course or complete half your Wave 3 Course. These courses are included in the trip fee.
SCHEDULE
Each day we will have 1 depth session in Kilsby’s Sinkhole followed by fun diving in Ewen’s and Piccininni Ponds. Mixed in with these dive sessions there will also be course theory and freediving workshops.
The water in the sinkhole in 14 – 15 degrees Celsius, so we recommend warm wetsuits for this adventure!
ACCOMMODATION
During the trip we will be staying the 2 nights at the Old Mount Gambier Gaol. Accommodation is included in the cost. Accommodation is dormitory style (although you can upgrade to a single room if you like, please just let us know when booking your spot). GETTING TO MOUNT GAMBIER
Mount Gambier is roughly a 5 hour drive from Adelaide or Melbourne. If coming from either of those cities we recommend driving or if coming from outside of South Australia or Victoria we recommend flying into Melbourne or Adelaide and renting a car for the drive up. We can arrange car pooling and a shuttle bus to minimise the number of cars we have to hire.

PRICE: $890AUD
This price includes the course, all diving and accommodation but not meals or travel expenses.
